When brassy Days overbrim your cup with strange clamor
can you feel me brush your cheek where many tears laid
their sorrow, can you hear the whispers of my ghostly enamor
as you weep for another memory never to fade?

When Nights skim the surface of your silent pleasures
my love is still there, a violet rarity few others have shared,
can you feel me with you, filling you with the treasure
of our piece of Eternity, can you feel my sighs in the air?

When Dawn fades to Dusk and in nocturnal hours you hide,
can you sense my lingering spirit and feel my embrace
cool against your heat, your candlelit writings I have spied,
do you know it's me who brushes the daydreams from your face?

Slithers in the sand, by your side I remain as I part this shroud
of mist so I can come to you when you restlessly sleep,
can you interpret my Truth's soft disclosures and know I am proud
of you, reliving precious memories, highlighted in the tears you weep?

Can you see me in the shadows that melt from your pastel dreams,
can you accept the truth that this was not my cruel choice
to suddenly leave, can you sense my presence though unseen?
With you I still live, in your haunted head can you hear my voice?

I know you miss me, crying my name to come back to you and this,
but immortality I found in your heart, and love so often said,
as you fall asleep I am there, cradling you in remembered bliss,
remember me, beloved, with you I am not really dead.

We never forget those we love. They are always there, tucked into a corner of our minds and hearts.

It's true. I know that death is not an end, but a transformation into some other type of existence.

I believe that too. And I know I'll be reunited with Tequila and the other animals I have loved and lost again. Nothing ever really dies...:rose:

We are more fortunate than most. How frightful it must be to believe that there is nothing.

Yes, I don't know how anyone can believe that there is nothing after death. It's so scary and so limiting in their thinking.
